One of the tools that the NCAA Selection committee uses to evaluate teams is the Team Sheet.
The Team Sheets on Bracketologists include most of the same information presented in an easier to use format. Over time, the NCAA has also removed outside metrics from the Team Sheet's but we've continued presenting that data.
This team clinched an auto-bid in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.

We know you like watching your team win by 50 points. It's fun but NET doesn't care about these games.

The NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET), relies on game results, strength of schedule, game location, scoring margin, net offensive and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses. The NET was built to create a ranking system that was as accurate as possible while also evaluating team performance fairly. To ensure fairness, certain types of data were omitted from the model. Of key importance, game date and order were omitted to give equal importance to both early and late-season games. In addition, a cap of 10 points was applied to the winning margin to prevent rankings from encouraging unsportsmanlike play, such as needlessly running up the score in a game where the outcome was certain.
The committee often refers to "team sheets" when comparing team performance. The team sheets contain in-depth team information about strength of schedule, performance against teams sorted by quadrants and results.
Starting with the 2017-18 season, the team sheets took on a new look. This change included each team's NET, but also include a team's ranking in five other metrics: the ESPN strength of record and BPI rankings, as well as the KPI, KenPom and Sagarin rankings. In addition, a team's schedule and results are now broken down in four quadrants that place greater emphasis on games played on neutral courts and in true road environments.
Starting with the 2020-21 season, the publicly available team sheets were simplified to no longer include the 5 other metrics added in 2017-18 putting a larger emphasis on NET rankings however the team sheets used by the committee still include them.
